Our History

Our History

Our history begins in 1991, with the foundation of Profiles International (PI) in Texas, USA. PI provides employers with current, valid, and easy-to-use employment-assessment instruments so they could make better use of their human capital resources.

PI operated initially in North America, where it now has thousands of clients, both large and small. It is the world’s innovator and leader in the development and distribution of employment-assessment instruments.

PI now has affiliates in over one hundred and twenty countries, and its instruments have been translated and validated in more than twenty languages, with sixty language “versions” (for example, Malaysian English, Filipino English, and so on).

Profiles Asia Pacific Inc. (PAP) was established and appointed as the exclusive distributor of PI’s employment-assessment instruments in the Philippines and Guam.

2005-2006

PAP tested about 100,000 high school students in the Philippines. This was the forerunner of the now established National Career Assessment Examination.

2014

Wiley—a global provider of knowledge and knowledge-enabled solutions that improved outcomes in research, professional practice, and education—acquires PI in the USA.

2021

PAP became PI’s authorized distributor for the Asia-Pacific region.

In the Philippines, PAP is continually recognized for being the country’s pioneer and leader in online assessments—empowering clients with unmatched access to internationally used talent-management solutions.
